Building a pool was a 10 -year dream for us. Though we’ve gutted to the studs and renovated more than a dozen, historical homes in uptown, NOLA; we didn’t know anything about building pools. We were determined to make the best choice possible in choosing a Pool Builder. We checked our neighborhood’s Next Door archives for past recommendations/comments, contacted neighbors, saw their pools and asked every question we could think of. We literally interviewed, met with and reviewed proposals from 6 different Pool Contractors.
We knew that it was unrealistic to expect that such a project would be without hiccups but we were determined to select the Contractor who we thought would deliver the promised product in a timely manner, have the ability to address any issues along the way as well as address any concerns, post completion.
We decided that Mike Stanton with Oasis Pools was by far the best choice and was the most capable of executing our pool/spa. We appreciated that Mike Stanton is Oasis Pools and our talks were with him, directly. Mike impressed us with his experience, knowledge, direct approach and his honesty as to what to expect throughout…the good and not so good. We have never doubted that we made the right choice. There were minor hiccups and even questions/concerns after completion, but they were definitely, minor. Mike has been immediately responsive throughout, seeing any issue through to completion and to our satisfaction.
Instead of sleepless nights and worry throughout, the entire process was an exciting one as it should have been. Mike is extremely competent, experienced and has likely dealt with every challenge imaginable with building a pool during his career. His ability to handle any situation which might arise was extremely important to us. The finished product was completed in the time frame expected (less than 7 weeks even with spring rains), our pool/spa is more beautiful than we dreamed, and we could not be happier with our decision to choose Mike Stanton of Oasis Pools. We’re very confident that he’s the right choice and that you’ll be very, very pleased with your decision to select him.
